Rechargeable vs Non-Rechargeable Batteries
Rechargeable batteries (Li-ion, NiMH) can be recharged hundreds of times and suit high-use devices. Non-rechargeable (primary) batteries — alkaline and lithium primary like CR2/CR123A — are single-use and ideal for low-drain or backup devices that must work after long storage.
Never attempt to recharge a primary battery. Always match the battery chemistry and voltage to your device.
