Battery Safety Guide
General safety
Keep batteries away from children and pets. Do not mix old and new cells or different chemistries. Never dispose of batteries in household fires.
Lithium-ion cells (18650, 21700, 26650, 14500)
- Only charge with a charger designed for the chemistry and size.
- Never over-discharge, short-circuit, crush or puncture cells.
- Inspect wraps for damage; retire swollen or damaged cells safely.
- Store in a cool, dry place; avoid loose cells in pockets or bags with metal objects.
Primary lithium cells (CR2, CR123A)
Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable lithium batteries. Store in original packaging until use.
